“The Industry Does Not Recognize Me” : Iwan Complains Bitterly”


Award winning reggae and dancehall sensation Iwan has poured his heart out this morning on Accra based radio Pluzz Fm on the AM Pluzz show hosted by Sammy Flex.



According to the Who Is Bad hitmaker,  it is necessary the industry gives  veneration to  music forerunners of his kind. He mentioned that , he (Iwan) was the new generation of dancehall in Ghana and  hence needs to be recognized.  ”I was the first artiste to sing dancehall in English and to make a hit. I was the first dancehall artiste to win Ghana Music Awards. People didn’t even know the music called dancehall till we enlightened them.Don’t give my props to others, because we did the underground dirty work” : He uttered.



Iwan insisted that the industry has not been fair to him because currently he forms  part of the  least talked about dancehall acts in Ghana. “DJ’s don’t play my songs, they don’t call me for shows, people don’t recognize me ” : he spoke out of emotions.



When asked whether there was a feud between himself and other artistes like Samini, the reggae/dancehall champ responded positively but unveiled that people have planned purportedly to bring him down.  He again  revealed he has problems with his temperaments which he will soon work on.



Iwan is yet unleash his “Gaskiya Is Truth” album on his birthday 12th September,2016. The album which has a tally of 12 songs is said to be a mix of reggae/dancehall and Hip- Life.

Willing Wanna Set To Drop New Video.



Fast rising dancehall artiste Willing Wanna is set to release a new video for his song titled"B.A.R.D" which means "Beyond All Reasonable  Doubt". The video which was directed by FireWorks is set to be release tomorrow, the 15th of July,2016.

Expect nothing but the best from the camp of the MAGARMY BOSS Willing Wanna, because he is going to prove "Beyond All Reasonable Doubt" that he is the next big thing to look out for.

Shattawale Pays Courtesy Call On Chiefs Of Techiman & Donates Stationeries To Students Prior To His “After The Storm Concert”



Charles Nii Armah Mensah better known as Shattawale is among the few generous Ghanaian artistes.
The African dancehall king together with his management team paid a visit to the Techiman Traditional Council on their arrival prior to his after the storm concert.
As part of the dancehall artiste  advocating for peace with his  Shatta Supports initiative, Shatta Wale has called on the Chiefs and People of Techiman to stay wise during the impending elections.



“Shatta Supports is the corporate social responsibility arm of the Shatta Movement which seeks to develop  Ghana socially by improving the quality of live of the people through appropriate and sustainable social interventions in identified areas. “As a celebrity, it is my way of giving back to the very people who have supported me to get to the top. It is very important to use my status to impact positively on their lives”, noted the dancehall act.

He presented assorted drinks, stationary and copies of Shatta Wale’s recently launched album “After The Storm” to the chiefs which was received by the administrator of the council.

The Shatta Movement team went on to donate educational materials as part of the “Shatta Wale Back to School” campaign to some schools which were selected in by the team in collaboration with the regional unit of the Ghana Educational Service as well as the Techiman Traditional Council.


Shattawale is set to thrill fans tonight at the Ohene Ameyaw Sports Stadium where his album will be launched.
