Charles Nii Armah Mensah better known as Shattawale is among the few generous Ghanaian artistes.
The African dancehall king together with his management team paid a
visit to the Techiman Traditional Council on their arrival prior to his
after the storm concert.
As part of the dancehall artiste advocating for peace with his
Shatta Supports initiative, Shatta Wale has called on the Chiefs and
People of Techiman to stay wise during the impending elections.
“Shatta Supports is the corporate social responsibility arm of the
Shatta Movement which seeks to develop Ghana socially by improving the
quality of live of the people through appropriate and sustainable social
interventions in identified areas. “As a celebrity, it is my way of
giving back to the very people who have supported me to get to the top.
It is very important to use my status to impact positively on their
lives”, noted the dancehall act.
He presented assorted drinks, stationary and copies of Shatta Wale’s
recently launched album “After The Storm” to the chiefs which was
received by the administrator of the council.
The Shatta Movement team went on to donate educational materials as
part of the “Shatta Wale Back to School” campaign to some schools which
were selected in by the team in collaboration with the regional unit of
the Ghana Educational Service as well as the Techiman Traditional
Council.
Shattawale is set to thrill fans tonight at the Ohene Ameyaw Sports Stadium where his album will be launched.
